Increased Capabilities with New Accelerometer Print E-mail

In continuing to keep up with the state-of-the-art, DJS Associates has recently purchased the most up-to-date accelerometer.

Features of this new unit include a tri-axis accelerometer, a larger G-range (up to 6G’s) and the capability to record at 1,000 Hz.  DJS will utilize this equipment for brake/skid testing, as well as acceleration testing.  Additionally, it will be used for the measurement of lateral and vertical G’s.  With the higher sample rate option, DJS will have the capability of utilizing the tri-axis accelerometer in any situation where the measurement of G-forces are of interest, including for low-speed crash testing.  For additional information, please contact James R.
