As diligently as Steve worked for his clients and cultivating relationships with them, he exerted the same effort here at DJS by fostering an environment where employees became teammates, and teammates became family. Currently 34 members strong and growing, the DJS family includes paralegals and case managers; field technicians and data collection specialists; research, marketing and administrative professionals; technical support specialists; and animation, automotive, and collision reconstruction engineers. Together this team possesses a wealth of experience and knowledge in the forensic services industry.

Indeed, it is based on this experience, combined with the legacy and work ethic that Steve instilled in us, that the DJS family will proudly continue moving forward by providing our clients an unparalleled work ethic predicated on integrity, fairness, and solid experience. Our roots are deep, our foundation is strong, and our commitment to all of you is as strong as it has been, since 1961. This is the legacy that we know Steve would have wanted for all of us.

Laurence began working at DJS Associates in 2016 in the 3D Engineering Animations Department. His professional and technical skills are focused in the digital visual arts, 3D animation technology, and programming fields. After gaining his Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art, Laurence earned certifications in Digital Video Forensic Analysis and in Visual Effects, among others.

Laurence creates engineering computer animations through processing scan data, modeling, texturing, animating, and compositing the final rendered deliverables. In addition to camera and object motion videogrammetry for 3D scene reconstructions, Laurence performs digital video forensic analysis for authenticity and tampering. Using various programming languages, he is able to efficiently automate repetitive 3D analysis tasks and produce interactive, multimedia-rich demonstratives.

Born in Southern England, Laurence has lived in Switzerland and frequently travels overseas to Europe with his wife and twin boys for family visits. His interests include spending time in the great outdoors, renovating his turn of the 20th century home, and wishing he had more tome to tinker on classic motorcycles and cars. When it’s time to relax, sci-fi films are first choice, especially from the Alien and Mad Max franchises.

Timothy R. Primrose - Mobile Forensic Analyst

Timothy R. Primrose
Mobile Forensic Analyst

Tim earned his degree in Digital Forensics, with a focus on Information and Technology Management, from Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania. As a Mobile Forensic Analyst, Tim handles securing, imaging, and analyzing mobile devices for the municipal, legal, and insurance industries. His services include the review and analysis of digital evidence casefile materials; securing, extracting, and storing of digital data evidence; creating, finalizing, maintaining, and executing formal documentation including chain of custody, consent, and release forms.

Tim was trained and certified as an Operator, Physical Analyst and Advanced Smartphone Analyst by Cellebrite. He works closely with the Automotive Engineering and Collision Reconstruction Departments to research, test, and analyze the connection of data from telecommunication systems to automobiles and their infotainment systems.

On the weekends, Tim enjoys eating chicken wings and watching the Philadelphia Eagles with his friends. When the birds aren’t playing, he and his girlfriend enjoy trips to Peddler’s village to take part in their monthly festivities. A little-known fact about Tim is that he earned Second-Degree Black Belt in Karate.

Principal Automotive/Mechanical Engineer

Scott has been with DJS Associates since 1999 and is an accomplished forensic engineer specializing in automotive and commercial trucking investigations. His rare blend of professional vehicle repair and mechanical engineering experience provides his clients an effective and efficient means of identifying and diagnosing root-cause factors in automotive forensic investigations. Event data recording technologies, vehicle steering and braking control systems, wheel detachment events, and vehicle repair industry best-practices are just of few of the technical areas he consults in regularly.

Scott graduated from Drexel University in 1997 with a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. Taking exclusively evening classes while working full-time as a professional automotive repair technician, his educational focus was in Dynamic Systems and Control Theory and Application. Upon graduation, Scott accepted a position at the Boeing Company as a member of the Mechanical Flight Controls design team supporting the CH-47 Chinook Tandem-rotor program. Scott continues his professional development through on-going research and training, and now leads the Automotive Division as a principal engineer at DJS. Spanning nearly 40 years in the vehicle repair and forensic engineering industries, Scott applies his extensive experience in civil and criminal matters, as well as complex class-action litigation.

Scott has presented CLE and CE accredited seminars to numerous associations across the United States on topics related to his areas of expertise including the latest in automotive and truck Event Data Recorder (EDR) technology and GPS Forensics.

Most importantly, Scott is a married father of three who enjoys writing, deep-sea fishing, church and community volunteering, and not paying professionals to perform home improvement and repair projects he is convinced he can do himself!

Director of Engineering Animations

Hugh earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University and began working for DJS Associates, Inc., as Director of 3D Engineering Animations in 2007. With a unique background in 3D Visualization, mechanical engineering, and a certification in Autodesk 3D Studio Max, Hugh constructs physically accurate, courtroom-accepted 3D environments and animations. He has over 13 years of experience as an expert in the field of Engineering Animation, demonstrating vehicular collisions, aviation accidents, biomechanical injuries, mechanical and structural failures, medical explanations and criminal cases to a trier of fact. These relationships are often captured in 2D and 3D to-scale exhibits that allow viewers to understand what happened and the important aspects of the case.

Hugh’s experience has an emphasis on new technology, including state-of-the-art data collection techniques, analysis, three-dimensional modeling, animations, photo and video forensic analysis, and demonstrative evidence. He has worked with experts in a variety of disciplines to assist with case demonstration and analysis, offering him a diverse portfolio of reconstruction scenarios. Hugh has lectured to Forensic Engineering Associations, Insurance Groups and Legal Associations on High-Definition Surveying and Computer Animations and continues his education as a member of the International Association of Forensic & Security Metrology (IAFSM).

When Hugh isn’t at the office, he enjoys long adventures with his Pitbull, Molly. A couple years ago, Hugh decided to take up firefighting and currently serves in the Oreland volunteer Fire Company. Despite the fact that he works in collision reconstruction, you will find him on his motorcycle whenever the sun is out.

Collision Reconstruction Engineering Analyst

Jim began his career with DJS Associates, Inc. in 1998, and has been reconstructing collisions since 1996. He received his BSME from the University of Maryland, where he achieved Dean’s List Honors from start to finish, was elected to the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society, and graduated magna cum laude in the top of his engineering class. Jim’s experience in performing site and vehicle inspections, physical evidence evaluation, and reconstructing such things as vehicle speeds, dynamics, and timing of crash sequences, shapes the foundation for the “next-level” analyses he achieves with today’s technology. All types of collisions involving motor vehicles, self-propelled vehicles, and pedestrians are evaluated.

Jim’s meticulous examination of collisions caught by video, be it surveillance, dash cam, or cellphone, has made him known in the office and by clients as “Captain Video.” Jim’s eye for detail is second to none while performing analyses in support of the testifying engineer. He utilizes state of the art computer technology to analyze physical evidence shown in photographs and to simulate pre-impact, impact, and post-impact vehicle dynamics. Event data is oftentimes invaluable to the analyses that Jim performs.

Jim continues to grow his knowledge in the industry as a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, relaxing in his new home, and eating lots of pizza. In the summer, he loves to take cruise vacations and spend time at the beach.

John earned his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University in 1989. With a focus on mechanical defects, failure analysis and general system safety, John’s expertise extends to the investigation and analysis of alleged mechanical failures of products including industrial equipment, consumer products, child safety seats, seatbelts, seatbacks, restraint systems, occupant restraints, wheelchair and patient lifts, lawnmowers, and ladders. John has over 25 years of experience in forensic investigations for the legal and insurance industries and has been involved with all aspects of investigation, research and product testing for various branches of the government, as well as private companies.

John is a registered professional engineer in several states and is also a member of numerous professional societies including National Academy of Forensic Engineers, National Society of Professional Engineers, SAE International, and American Society of Mechanical Engineer, among others. He has co-authored approximately two dozen peer reviewed papers and presented at numerous conferences. John is a nationally certified firefighter, vehicle rescue technician, and holds a certification in Child Passenger Safety Instruction. Along with additional training in various emergency service-related disciplines, John’s unique background provides an extensive understanding of emergency service incidents and occupant protection.
John and his wife recently celebrated their 30th anniversary with a trip to Hawaii, visiting three of the islands. They have three grown children, who live locally, and remain very close. John enjoys serving his community and is very active in his local fire company and municipal zoning hearing board.

Tim earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware in 2009. He has over 10 years of design experience in the fields of traffic, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), traffic control, work zone safety, roadway improvements, municipal improvements, recreational facilities, grading and drainage, commercial and residential land development, and ADA compliance. Tim is a consultant in the field of collision reconstruction, applying the laws of physics to investigate, analyze and reconstruct vehicular collisions, including those involving pedestrians, bicycles, motorcycles, passenger vehicles, and commercial vehicles. Tim also provides expertise in the field of premise liability with his experience in ADA compliance. Tim specializes in traffic control, work zone safety, commercial shopping center traffic circulation, and code/ordinance compliance.

Tim is a licensed Professional Engineer and has been certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as a licensed Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) remote pilot. He is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), and the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers (PSPE).

Tim enjoys spending his free time with his wife and two young children. He loves playing, coaching, and watching soccer (including his favorite team, Liverpool). In the summer, you can find Tim and his family vacationing in Ocean City, NJ.

Justin Schorr Accident Reconstruction Expert

Justin P. Schorr, PH.D
President, Principal Collision Reconstruction Engineer

Justin began his Secondary Education career by earning his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Northwestern University in 2008 and completed his 11-year odyssey by earning his Master’s (2010) and Doctorate (2015) degrees in Civil Engineering from the George Washington University (GW). Justin’s education does not end there, however, as he has also completed specialized training in Collision Reconstruction, Event Data Recorders (EDR), and he is a certified drone pilot licensed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Still, after completing nearly 25 years of formal education, Justin will tell you that his most valuable training comes from a lifetime of education provided by his father and grandfather – both of whom were industry leaders in Collision Reconstruction.

As an active member of the academic research community, Justin has published four peer-reviewed journal articles and eight refereed conference papers in the field of transportation safety and driver behavior. While at GW, “Dr. J” (as he is referred to by his students) provided one on one presentations at the request of Mr. Ed Gillespie (former Gubernatorial Candidate in Virginia, Chairman of the Republican National Committee, and White House Counselor to George W. Bush), Major John Bell (Delegate 87th District, Virginia), David Birtwistle (CEO Northern Virginia Transportation Alliance), and, his personal favorite, Congresswoman Barbara Comstock (10th District, Virginia). Justin is also intimately involved in giving back to the community and delivered Keynote Addresses in 2013, 2014, and 2015 for GW’s Science and Technology Engineering Day and in 2013 for Schools Without Walls. Justin continues to serve as an adjunct professor and the lead researcher at the Vehicle Instrumentation and Driver Simulation Laboratory at GW. In addition, Justin has brought his engaging style of teaching to the legal, insurance, and engineering communities offering CE and CLE seminars on topics including Automated Vehicles, New Technology in Collision Reconstruction, and Driver Distraction.

The foundation for Justin’s expertise is rooted in three main segments: transportation engineering, applied mathematics, and intelligent systems engineering. Specific to collision reconstruction and intelligent vehicles, Justin is well trained in traffic engineering and highway safety, highway design, intelligent transportation systems, vehicle dynamics, real world crash investigation, crash investigation and analysis, vehicle standards and crash test analysis, and intelligent control systems.

Outside of work, Justin is an avid golfer and participates in Amateur tournaments on both the local and national level. Justin is the former captain of his high school and college Varsity Men’s Ice Hockey Clubs and has been a season ticket holder to his hometown Philadelphia Flyers since the day he was born! He also enjoys spending his time with his wife and their two cats, Mitch-The-Cat and Otis-The-Cat. Recently, Justin has begun offering his time and expertise to news stations and podcast series related to collision reconstruction and transportation safety, and has even had the opportunity to guest host the “Take A Knee” podcast with one of his favorite comedians, Adam Carolla.

Robert Lynch Accident Reconstruction Expert

Bob earned Bachelor of Arts Degrees in both Physics and Mathematics from Franklin & Marshall College before attending the University of Virginia, where he obtained a Master of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2007. He completed a graduate level certification course in Human Factors Engineering and Ergonomics (HFEE) through Penn State University in 2018. Bob is a licensed Professional Engineer and an accredited traffic accident reconstructionist by the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstructionists (ACTAR). He is certified as a Crash Data Retrieval (CDR) Technician and Analyst, certified by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) to access and interpret heavy vehicle event data recorders (HVEDR), and is also certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as a licensed Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) remote pilot.

Bob has over 12 years of experience as a consultant in the field of collision reconstruction, applying the laws of physics to investigate, analyze and reconstruct vehicular collisions, including those involving pedestrians, bicycles, motorcycles, passenger vehicles, and commercial vehicles. He has conducted field investigations and analyzed more than 1,000 motor vehicle collisions, including pedestrian impacts, for their crash characteristics and dynamics. Bob specializes in nighttime photography techniques, creating representative photographs of recreated scenes. He has developed his own peer-reviewed method to determine the severity of a collision through the use of an energy-based crush analysis.

Bob has worked on the research and development of vehicle occupant crash protection devices and has tested and validated energy-attenuating seating systems to military ground vehicles. He has specified and conducted full-scale vehicle crash tests and has aided local police agencies in homicide investigations. Bob is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), the Illumination Engineering Society (IES), the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES), the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers (PSPE), the National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP), the National Association of Professional Accident Reconstruction Specialists (NAPARS), and the National Association of Traffic Accident Reconstructionists and Investigators (NATARA). He has lectured to several of these organizations, as well as to attorneys, insurance professionals, and government organizations on topics related to collision reconstruction.

Jon earned an Associate’s Degree in Information Technology: Multimedia from ITT Technical Institute prior to attending the Center for Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University, where he completed an advanced certificate course in Computer Animation: 3D Animation. He has taken many courses related to the proper use and interpretation of 3D laser scanning data/equipment and holds a Certificate in the operation and use of the FARO Focus 3D Laser Scanner. Jon holds Professional Certifications for AutoDesk 3ds Max in Models to Motion and Surface and Look Development. He is certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as a licensed Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) remote pilot. Jon has been utilizing UAS-based photography to produce 3D photogrammetric data since 2014 and is a Pix4D Certified Expert.

Jon has 10 years of experience in both 3D modeling/animation and 3D laser scanning. He has conducted field investigations and analyzed hundreds of motor vehicles and sites and is an expert in producing three-dimensional exhibits based on accurate measurement information. Jon has planned, overseen, and compiled data for many historical preservation/building documentation projects, including the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, Ferryboat Binghamton, and Mount Moriah Cemetery Gatehouse, all of which appear on the list of U.S. National Historic Landmarks and are often used as examples in educational seminars that Jon presents to the industry, law firms, insurance companies, and more.

When Jon isn’t working, he enjoys playing and watching sports, playing board games with his friends and family, and attending live comedy shows.

Lan earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware in 2018 where she maintained memberships in the Formula Society of Automotive Engineers and Blue Dragon Bioimaging. After graduating, she built her experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, designing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components and systems for educational labs and hospital facilities. Now, as an Engineering Assistant for the DJS Collision Reconstruction Department, Lan assists in evaluating vehicular collisions. Utilizing scan data, physical evidence, discovery documents, and engineering software, Lan analyzes crash factors including vehicle speed, dynamics, and timing of crash sequences.

On the weekends, Lan enjoys spending time finding hiking trails to explore as well as trying new outdoor activities. When relaxing, she is usually bingeing Netflix and eating ice cream (exclusively Ben and Jerry’s) or cracking open a new book.

Engineering Analyst

Bailey joined the team at DJS Associates, Inc., in 2021. While earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Penn State University (2021), she completed a Civil Engineering Internship with the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission and was a member of the UAV Design Team at the University. Bailey completed continuing education courses at Northwestern University including Traffic Crash Investigation, Vehicle Dynamics, and Traffic Crash Reconstruction throughout the winter of 2021 and 2022. At DJS, she is responsible for providing engineering analyses on case files related to collision reconstruction and vehicle mechanics, as well as project management. She utilizes 3D laser scanning technology, electronic surveying equipment, digital photography, and videography to investigate and document sites and vehicles.

Outside of DJS, Bailey enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, kayaking, four-wheeling, or just relaxing by a bonfire with friends. To unwind, she likes to cuddle up with her dogs, Crash and Keiko, with a good thriller movie and some salty snacks.

Terry is the lead investigator at DJS Associates, Inc. He has over 30 years of experience inspecting and documenting collision scenes, vehicles, machinery, and buildings/structures. Terry utilizes state-of-the-art technology for his field inspections, including 3D HDS Laser Scanners; Drones (UAS); Digital Photography and Videography. He is trained and experienced in the use of acceleration /deceleration testing equipment, as well as documenting ambient lighting in scene investigations using light meters. Terry is proficient in measuring and documenting vehicle damage including crush profiles, low speed impact data and photographic surveys.

Terry is certified in the retrieval of Event Data Recorders (EDRs) utilizing Crash Data Retrieval (CDR) System. He has been certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as a licensed Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) remote pilot. Terry is the lead responder for the 24/7 Rapid Response Team, dispatching field crew and ensuring prompt response time. He is an accredited speaker in Pennsylvania for CLE seminars, and has lectured for many associations across the United States, offering courses in documentation methods and evidence preservation.

Terry enjoys traveling with his wife and family. He likes to play a mediocre game of golf and goes whitetail deer hunting each year, more for the social atmosphere rather than the sport.

Pete earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Design from The University of the Arts in 1991. He has over 10 years of experience as a Forensic Field Technician, responsible for conducting site surveys; 3D HDS laser scanning; digital photography and videography; and all related documentation. As a member of the 24/7 Rapid Response Team, Pete is available at a moment’s notice to investigate and document a collision or site when and where needed.

Pete’s certifications and additional training include Crash Data Retrieval (CDR), Event Data Retrieval (EDR), and FARO Focus 3D Scanning. He is an Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) remote pilot, licensed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Outside of DJS Associates Pete enjoys spending time with his son, Luke, and coaching his soccer team. Pete is a movie aficionado, and loves to get a round of golf in when he has the time.

Robert Gisondi

Robert joined DJS Associates in 2016, as a member of the 24/7 Rapid Response Team. He is responsible for conducting site and vehicle inspections where he utilizes state-of-the-art technology including 3D HDS Laser Scanners; Drones (UAS); Terrestrial Photographs and Videos. He is certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as a licensed Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) remote pilot. Along with Robert’s meticulous collection of case data, he has an advanced understanding of data processing systems, including use of in-house software, Cyclone and Scene.

His versatile background in data collection and processing allows him to work with different experts and engineers from a variety of disciplines to obtain the proper information needed based upon case issues. Robert has been involved in documentation projects outside of the legal and insurance fields, including construction, architecture, and historical preservation.

Robert is a loyal Philadelphia sports fan across the board. He hopes that by the time he retires, he has the chance to see the Flyers win a Stanley Cup. If that doesn’t happen, he, his wife, and their two dogs will still remain lifetime fans.

Leslie started her career with DJS Associates in 1991 in the outside consulting department. After a career change in 2000 to teaching Integrated Marketing Communications as an Assistant Professor, she returned to DJS in 2015 as Technical Assistant to R. Scott King, BSME of the Automotive Engineering Division. With her experience and technical acumen, Leslie is the epitome of versatility. From efficient project management, office administrative functions, as well as vehicle and vehicle systems research to 3D High-Definition Laser site and vehicle documentation, Leslie plays a part in practically every aspect of the Automotive Division.

Leslie enjoys engaging dialog and building strong personal and professional relationships. When not working, Leslie spends her spare time volunteering with several charities and loves spending time with her husband, son and daughter.

Stephen began his career in 2020 as an intern for DJS Associates, working with 3D site scan data for the In-House Consulting Department. After earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Geographic and Urban Studies, with a minor in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from Temple University, Stephen started working for DJS full time that same year. As the GIS Technical Analyst, he assists in the data processing activities for site and vehicle documentations including scans, videos, and photographs. Stephen collects and updates inspection and surveillance information for use in DJS’ proprietary mapping databases, used for engineering research, the DJS National Documentation Network, as well as internal projects.

In his free time, Stephen enjoys golfing, cooking, going to museums, and hanging out with his two cats Gino and Ang. He also spends time with his father, both participating in competition skeet shooting.

Joy Falk Schorr

Joy has been with DJS Associates, Inc., since 1986, when she was brought in by her husband, Steven M. Schorr, P.E. After assisting in case management, billing, marketing, and overall operations, Joy began the Outside Consulting Department. With a strong understanding of the legal industry’s need for experts in all disciplines, Joy began building a network that has grown to over 400 engineers, experts, doctors, and scientists nationwide. Now, as Chief Executive Officer, Joy manages the overall operations and resources of DJS Associates, Inc., ensuring our clients’ case and educational needs are continuously met by our firm and its personnel through unsurpassed forensic consulting, technology and animation services, as well as by providing unparalleled client service.

When not at work, you can usually find Joy working out (a true Peloton junkie), hanging out with friends (her “golden girls”) or relaxing on the couch with Rocky, her furry female cat. Her favorite foods are Sushi, Lobster, Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream, and a good Tequila.

Lauren earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bloomsburg University (BU) in 2013 and her Master of Business Administration with a concentration in innovation from Thomas Jefferson University (TJU) in 2020. Shortly after completing her undergraduate degree, Lauren began her career with DJS Associates as the Administrative Assistant / Receptionist. While working her way through many roles at DJS, including billing administration, case management, and marketing, Lauren developed a passion for organizational planning and operations, leading her to continue her education at Thomas Jefferson University.

Now, in her current role as the Executive Director, Lauren works with the CEO, President, and Executive Director of Human Resources & Operations to plan and execute the growth and operational strategies of DJS Associates and Forensic Storage and Technology Center. Along with internal administration, she oversees the Outside Consulting Department, Marketing Department, and organizes DJS’ CLE and CE credit approved educational seminars/webinars across the United States.

Outside of DJS, Lauren spends her time with her loving pets: Doug, Peg, Indiana Jones, and Bigfoot. She enjoys learning new languages, watching true crime shows, and traveling.

Executive Director of Human Resources & Operations

Emily joined the team at DJS Associates, Inc., in 2021. Emily is a Certified Professional in Human Resources, holding both SHRM-CP and PHR certifications, with fourteen years of Human Resources experience. In her role at DJS as the Executive Director of Human Resources & Operations, she is a leader of team member engagement, development, recruitment, on-boarding, workforce planning, coaching, benefit administration, workers compensation/risk management, and payroll administration. Along with traditional Human Resources responsibilities, Emily also works directly with the CEO, President, and Executive Director to coordinate and manage the internal operations of the company.

Emily adores spending time with family and friends, especially planning trips throughout the year. She enjoys all things music and loves making playlists for people! More recently, she has started to explore different recipes at home and watching all the movies her friends have recommended over the years (she admits how “behind the times” she is in this area!)

Director of Case Operations and Scheduling

Rebecca began working at DJS Associates in 2004 as the Administrative Assistant / Receptionist. Throughout the following years, Rebecca’s eye for precision and understanding of casefile needs put her on the fast track to becoming Senior Case Manager for the Collision Reconstruction Department, 3D Engineering Animations Department, and High-Definition Laser Scanning projects.

Now, as Director of Case Operations and Scheduling, Rebecca supervises the day-to-day operations of the In-House Consulting Department by ensuring all client inquiries are answered properly and in a timely fashion, supervising the pre- and post-inspection activities of the Field Crew, and managing the DJS National Documentation Network for country-wide site and vehicle documentations. Along with overseeing the in-house administrative activities, she manages new and active case files for the 3D Engineering Department as well as DJS’ President, Dr. Justin P. Schorr, by effectively maintaining schedules for deposition and trial testimony, client meetings, and report deadlines.

In her free time, Rebecca enjoys attending concerts and trying new restaurants with her boyfriend. In the warmer months, you can find her at Rehoboth Beach, or on a cruise ship.

Research Coordinator / Engineering Assistant

Nancy has been with DJS Associates, Inc., since 1999. As the Research Coordinator / Engineering Assistant for the in-house consulting department, Nancy oversees DJS research projects; maintains the company library; as well as reviews, organizes and digests case file materials. Nancy proofreads and finalizes in-house engineering reports and exhibits, as well as oversees the maintenance of discovery materials as they are received for each case. Nancy is a member of the Social Committee, helping to arrange inter-office events as well as community service projects for the company.

Nancy’s relationship status with DJS Associates, Inc. is not complicated- it’s 20 years and still going strong. Nancy’s enjoys using her young grandchildren as an excuse to get to see some great Pixar, Universal, and Disney movies, and keeping her head above water and making a wave when she can.

Building Maintenance Supervisor

Richard, better known in the office as Spike, has been with DJS Associates since 2013. As the maintenance supervisor, Spike oversees the day to day maintenance and operation of the DJS office. As a talented electrician and carpenter, Spike utilizes his skills to build additional office space for the ever growing DJS team, as well as testing materials and prototypes for in-house engineering research projects.

A longtime hockey lover and retired player, Spike volunteers his time for the Abington Ice Hockey team, something he has done for years with our late President, and his dear friend, Steven Schorr. When the DJS team is lucky, Spike brings the office tasty treats from his wife, Jennifer, or brings in our favorite small pup, Lily.

Sarah began working at DJS Associates in 2015 as a Paralegal for the In-House Consulting Department. In 2020 she began her new role as Project Manager for Robert Lynch, P.E., Principal Collision Reconstruction Engineer, and Timothy Reilly, P.E., Senior Collision Reconstruction Engineer. As Project Manager, Sarah utilizes her experience and background in the legal industry to effectively manage active case files by coordinating site and vehicle inspections; scheduling client meetings and engineering testimony; organizing and digesting discovery materials; completing casefile research, and proofing reports.

Sarah maintains her certification through the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) and is a member of the Philadelphia Association of Paralegals (PAP). She actively continues to grow her knowledge of legal concepts and topics in the industry to aid in providing our clients with exceptional service and understanding of their needs.

Sarah is an animal lover, and once spent five months interning at a farm animal sanctuary. Together with her husband and two kids, she enjoys visiting New York City, finding new restaurants, and going to the movies. Sarah also loves cooking and hanging out with her cat, Pepper.

Becca began working at DJS Associates in 2016 in the outside consulting department. As a Case Manager, she is the liaison between clients and experts, ensuring deadlines, scheduling and correspondences are handled in a timely manner. In addition to file management, Becca provides assistance to the billing department, posting time entries for outside consultants and handling invoicing for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Becca recently moved to Fishtown, Philadelphia, where she has been spending her free time hanging out with friends, eating good food, and going to concerts. Becca also enjoys traveling, with recent trips to Dublin, Paris, Budapest, and Vienna.

Ann Marie joined DJS Associates, Inc., in 2018 as an Administrative Assistant / Receptionist for the Outside Consulting Department. Now, in her new role as Marketing Assistant, she helps to organize CLE and CE seminar materials; obtain case studies and industry updates for DJS email mailings and newsletters; handles mailing database management; and maintains the DJS LinkedIn account. Ann Marie is a member of the Social Committee, helping to arrange inter-office events as well as community service projects for the company.

In her free time, Ann Marie enjoys expressing her creativity through ceramic creations. She has her very own kiln at home, so she can create with her family and friends! When she isn’t working on ceramic designs, she is out and about with her favorite family member, Cooper, her beloved dog.

Patricia has been with DJS Associates, Inc., since 2017. As the Billing Administrator, Patricia handles invoicing for all cases, including following up on accounts receivables. Patricia’s responsibilities include billing database management; the processing and distribution of timely statements; maintaining up-to-date billing information for clients; and budget maintenance and management. She is happy to assist experts and clients with any billing questions. As a member of the Social Committee, Patricia helps to arrange inter-office events as well as community service projects for the company.

Lauren joined the outside consulting department of DJS Associates in 2019. As a Case Manager, Lauren is the liaison between clients and experts, ensuring deadlines, scheduling and correspondences are handled in a timely, professional and friendly manner. She is also Case Manager for in-house Mechanical Engineer, John R. Yannaccone, P.E., assisting in scheduling inspections, meeting deadlines, and storing forensic evidence. Lauren assists the marketing department by attending industry conferences as a representative at the DJS booth where she educates clients and experts on DJS services.

Lauren loves to vacation in Ocean City, NJ, where she spends a week every summer with her family. Her favorite activities include spending time with her niece, nephew and godmother; reading books on true crime, psychology and philosophy; and practicing daily mindfulness.

Alexa began working at DJS Associates in 2020 as an Engineering Administrative Assistant for the In-House Consulting Department. Alexa assists on active case files for R. Scott King, Principal Automotive/Mechanical Engineer, Timothy Primrose, Mobile Forensic Analyst, and Leslie E. Lovre, Technical Assistant, by scheduling inspections, handling client inquiries, and managing deadlines. Alexa is also responsible for cataloguing and maintaining diagnostic tools for downloading event and cellular data, as well as collecting and storing evidence associated with forensic extractions.

Outside of work, Alexa enjoys spending time with friends, trying out new restaurants with her boyfriend, and going on long walks and cuddling with her dog, Brody. She also always looks forward to making a trip or two out to Florida each year to visit family.

Jessica started working at DJS Associates in 2020 as an Administrative Assistant for the In-House Consulting Department. In addition to taking in new cases, Jessica ensures all client needs are addressed and their cases are handled with the proper expertise.

In her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband Kevin, their children Ryan, Annabelle, and Ethan, and the family dogs Rhea and Jax. During the spring and summer seasons, they spend a lot of time taking the kids to the playground – you can often find them at the baseball fields, cheering on Ryan while he plays his favorite sport!

Director of Information Technology

Lincoln began working at DJS Associates in 2020 as the Director of Information Technology and Software Development. With over 10 years of experience in system administration and software engineering, he ensures that DJS’ IT infrastructure, hosted in multiple data centers, is fully operational. Lincoln is responsible for the management of company IT processes, including WAN, LAN, SAN, and EDI computer platforms, as well as providing IT reports to the executive team. Additional responsibilities include developing network maintenance and growth plans, creating annual project budgets, managing IT staff, and keeping the executive team up to date on the latest networking technologies to help the company succeed.

In his free time, Lincoln enjoys gardening and tending to the animals on his small homestead. He takes pleasure in living organically, collecting fresh eggs from his chickens and honey from his bees. Lincoln also likes to take bike rides with his children, though he doesn’t mind going alone as well!

Victoria joined the team at DJS Associates, Inc., in 2021. As the Billing Administrative Assistant, she handles the processing and timely distribution of invoices for DJS’ outside consulting department. Working directly with the Billing Administrator, Victoria is also responsible for assisting with statement preparation for the in-house engineers, database management, updating case-related billing information, and general billing inquiries from clients and experts.

When Victoria is not working, you can find her walking the neighborhood with her two sons, trying to become friends with all the dogs they meet. She enjoys going out to breakfast, reading a good mystery book, and cuddling with her cat, August. In addition to a monthly trip to Cape May to visit her mother, Victoria and her sons enjoy playing card games and having fun with nerf gun battles.

Karen joined the team at DJS Associates, Inc., in 2021. As the Case Intake Coordinator for the In-House Consulting Department, Karen oversees new and pending matters in the areas of Collision Reconstruction, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mobile Downloads, Documentation/Reality Capture, and Video Enhancement/Analysis. Her responsibilities include obtaining necessary case information, conflict checking, case and client database entry, and ensuring clients are connected with qualified experts to assist with their case needs.

Samantha is one of the friendly voices you hear when you call DJS Associates. As the Administrative Assistant for the Outside Consulting Department, she is responsible for assisting case managers, experts, and clients with file administration, data entry, scheduling, and new cases. In addition to working with the Outside Consulting Department, Samantha also assists the billing department with documentation for accounts receivables and payables.

Samantha enjoys spending time with her family, nephew, fur-niece Lyanna, as well as her own dog, Sabrina. During the summer season, you can find her at the beach in Ventnor, NJ or attending a concert of one of her favorite artists!
