Lan Tomasi

Lan earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware in 2018 where she maintained memberships in the Formula Society of Automotive Engineers and Blue Dragon Bioimaging. After graduating, she built her experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, designing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components and systems for educational labs and hospital facilities. Now, as an Engineering Assistant for the DJS Collision Reconstruction Department, Lan assists in evaluating vehicular collisions. Utilizing scan data, physical evidence, discovery documents, and engineering software, Lan analyzes crash factors including vehicle speed, dynamics, and timing of crash sequences.

Lan is an active member of the National Association of Professional Accident Reconstruction Specialists (NAPARS) and the Society of Women Engineers (SWE).
